“Please God, if you’re listening, keep Rachel safe.” She couldn’t turn her back on her family in their time of need. So when her sister was injured, financial expert Andrea Hampton traded the big city for Amish country to help turn her grandmother’s house into an inn. But life with the Plain People took a treacherous turn when a string of accidents and pranks threatened her family. Someone didn’t want the secrets the old house harbored to come to light. Trusting anyone-even the handsome carpenter who seemed so genuine-was a battle for Andrea, but her life depended on her ability to find the truth. Continue reading

Went to a concert with Ceecee and our respective sisters last night. Pretty awesome if I do say so myself! If you don’t know, now would be a good time to brush up on who these two bands are.
Aside from the fact that the band members are HOT, they can really belt it out.
Whereas Anberlin’s music has a subtle Christian message about hope and love and perseverance, SotY is full-out power.
Anberlin has matured so much over the years and I am glad to know they were signed by Universal Republic last year!!

Story of the Year is an amazing performance band and deserves a label that can market them well. Hopefully that will happen soon!

The new Kanye West song.
This song resonates with what this nation as a whole is going through, not to mention our individual struggles with the influences we hold over our friends and acquaintances. Power is a drug that ends up corroding your thoughts and eventually causes your descent from grace. It makes you forget that you are not the be-all-end-all. Power lulls you into a false sense of confidence that you can do no wrong. At least until you fuck up and then there’s no where to go but down.
Having power is fun, but it is indiscriminate and will turn on you in the end for someone more capable of wielding it.
Loving loving loving this song! This is classic Usher, before “Yeah” to those days when he was U.S.H.E.R. R.A.Y.M.O.N.D.
Sometimes, a song can express exactly how I’m feeling. This song is a few years late, but at one point I knew what it was like to feel like the world was ending…but only for me. The script has written an excellent song. Not their first by no means, but a recent favorite of mine.
