http://creditcardforum.com/blog/free-fico-score/

I’m not in the habit of promoting other websites, but as a 20-something-ish person, I’m obsessed with my credit scores.

So, if you’re like me, this is a great article to read about the difference between a FICO score and what some other companies offer. Don’t get ripped off!

A Perfect Letter

The World of Special Olympics

The following is a guest post in the form of an open letter from Special Olympics athlete and global messenger John Franklin Stephens to Ann Coulter after this tweet during last night’s Presidential debate.

Dear Ann Coulter,

Come on Ms. Coulter, you aren’t dumb and you aren’t shallow.  So why are you continually using a word like the R-word as an insult?

I’m a 30 year old man with Down syndrome who has struggled with the public’s perception that an intellectual disability means that I am dumb and shallow.  I am not either of those things, but I do process information more slowly than the rest of you.  In fact it has taken me all day to figure out how to respond to your use of the R-word last night.

I thought first of asking whether you meant to describe the President as someone who was bullied as a child…

Sharing Corner: Ashley Judd Slaps Media in the Face for Speculation Over Her ‘Puffy’ Appearance – The Daily Beast

Ms. Judd is on the money with this viewpoint. So many of our girl and women look at themselves and see what they lack instead of seeing what they have. Society needs to take a step back and reevaluate what we value from each other. Below is the link to her post:

Sharing Corner: Bones Episode Review: “The Hot Dog in the Competition”

Bones Episode Review: “The Hot Dog in the Competition”.

So, I wanted to write a post of the TV show, Bones. I’ve been dragging my feet about, but a blog that I follow, http://whenitsgood.com/, writes episode reviews for shows that they are watching. I thought this was an excellent review, and in lieu of my post, I wanted to share this one with you!

I’m going to try to share a new blog post every Monday. I find that the things that fascinate me are usually already written about…by someone else. Why should I be the only one who gets to read about them?
